Artistic performances at home during periods of confinement

During the confinements linked to the Covid-19 pandemic, a number of home-based artistic performance initiatives were carried out by videoconference or by pooling individual recordings.

While the experiences of the Paris Opéra and the ‘Residentie Orkest at Home’ project by the orchestra of The Hague (Den Haag) and its students were among the most closely followed, many other musicians and actors gave home performances during the confinements.

These experiences not only had an individual impact on the artists and their creativity, but also influenced the development of innovative techniques for producing them.

The orchestra in The Hague has agreed to link these digital works related to the pandemic in the Now.Museum.
